New Archers

At Jefferson Archery we are here to ensure you are leaving with not just the tools to achieve your goals, but the proper fit and know-how as well. This is where big box stores and online retailers fail our sport. A true archery pro shop does not exist solely to turn a profit from sales, but to ensure that archers are successful, safe, and continue in the sport we all love. This is what we at Jefferson Archery strive for. Our associates are among the most experienced in the archery industry, and are here to ensure you are properly fitted and are selecting the best bow for you! We will be glad to help answer all of your questions as well as help make recommendations that meet your needs.

This is all the more crucial for a new archer. Development of good shooting form and properly fitted equipment are both imperative to your success, your enjoyment, and most importantly your safety. At Jefferson Archery we pride ourselves on not only having the best and most versatile equipment for beginners, but the expertise and training to help you learn to shoot.

Interested in lessons or want more information? Send us an email and we’ll get in contact with you. We offer private lessons for kids and adults. Lessons are offered from March thru June at 1pm Tues-Fri. and 9am on Saturdays. One hour or 30-minute sessions are available.  We provide all the equipment, or you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please be prepared to have the lesson outside if weather permits.

One-hour lessons are $85 per person, 30-minute lessons are $45 per person. A $40 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your lesson slot. Deposit may be paid over the phone with a credit card, or you can stop in the shop. We are more than happy to reschedule should an unforeseen circumstance arise.
